Technological innovation iteration accelerates breakthroughs in materials and processes
Release time:2025-10-16
The technological upgrade of the plastic hinge container industry focuses on material modification and production process optimization, promoting the dual improvement of product performance and environmental attributes. In terms of materials, the application proportion of high-temperature resistant PP materials (able to withstand high temperatures of 120-140 ℃) and low-temperature resistant PE materials (able to be used in an environment of -40 ℃) has significantly increased, meeting diverse needs such as microwave heating and frozen storage. Meanwhile, the application of antibacterial materials (adding silver ions, zinc oxide and other components) in the food and medical fields has reached 32%, effectively reducing the risk of microbial contamination.
In terms of production technology, integrated injection molding technology has become mainstream, with an industry penetration rate of over 75%. This technology can achieve one-time molding of the container body and hinge, greatly improving product sealing (leakage rate less than 0.5%) and durability (can be opened and closed more than 500 times repeatedly). Some leading companies have also introduced precision molds and automated production lines to control product tolerances within ± 0.1mm, meeting the packaging needs of high-end electronic components. In addition, breakthroughs have been made in lightweight technology. While ensuring strength, the average thickness of the product has decreased by 15% compared to 2020, and the consumables per unit product have decreased by 12%. This not only reduces production costs but also reduces plastic usage.
