Policy regulation is becoming increasingly strict, and green transformation is accelerating

At the policy level, the country continues to strengthen the regulation and guidance of the food packaging industry. The promotion and implementation of policies such as the "Opinions on Further Strengthening the Control of Plastic Pollution" have imposed stricter restrictions on non degradable disposable plastic products, forcing enterprises to transform towards environmentally friendly packaging. At present, more than 76% of PP food packaging production enterprises in China have completed the transformation of green production lines, adopting high-efficiency and energy-saving injection molding equipment and automated production lines, and the energy consumption per unit product has decreased by 8.3% year-on-year.
The product quality supervision system is constantly improving, and the current effective national standards such as "National Food Safety Standard - Plastic Materials and Products in Contact with Food" (GB 4806.7-2023) strictly control indicators such as product sensory perception, overall cleanliness, and harmful substance migration. Legitimate production enterprises need to obtain a production license issued by the provincial quality supervision department before they can be listed and circulated, and undergo annual inspection and supervision spot checks to ensure product safety from the source.
